SAN v0.7
Experimental: structure may change in a subsequent edition.
CC0 1.0 terms. Open, royalty-free.
Covers / never covers
Covers audience belief, perception and analytical structure. Never publishes personal profiles, performer routines, private psychology vocabulary or implementation code.
Importer behaviour
Use an exact declared edition; reject unsupported major versions. Ignore unknown fields only where the specification permits them.
Complete SAN schemas are unavailable because their psychology taxonomy dependencies remain private. These source fragments are documentation data.
Glossary
- observer-ref — Reference to an Observer Profile. Formalizes sensory, attention, and epistemological characteristics of the observer. Enables quantifiable analysis. See observer-profiles/ and schemas/observer-model-0.1.json.
- context — Environmental constraints of the performed situation. Not properties of the trick itself.
- spectators — Spectator configuration. Roles determine exposure, agency, and inferential load.
- belief-layer — Belief state per spectator role. Keys are role identifiers (e.g., 'assisting', 'observing').
- belief-claims — Optional, action-anchored propositions asserted for a role or documented participant (TAM-57). They complement aggregate belief_layer measures without copying TCS mechanics or evaluator results.
- post-inference — What spectators conclude after the effect has ended. Inference does not require exposure.
- failure-attribution — Contributing factors to failure. Often multiple factors combine. First element is primary.
- catalog-ref — Optional pointer to Conjuring Atlas library entry. Pointer only, no duplication.
- tcs-refs — Optional references to specific TCS sequence/step IDs for cross-layer linking
- psychology — Psychological annotation of the analysis (misdirection, forcing, belief manipulation).
- metadata — Shared metadata schema (i18n, custom)
